About Adventures in Learning
My journey in childcare started when my own daughters were little. Their childcare provider created such a beautiful space to learn and still be present for her own family. That I thought, that’s what I want. When I became a single mom working retail, it was hard being away from my girls all day long. So, I reached out to that provider and with her guidance opened my first childcare in July of 2012.
What began as a way to be present for my own kids became something I truly loved. Helping little ones learn, grow and feel safe. I ran my program for more than a decade, then took a brief break.
Ultimately, I realized this is where my heart is. In July of 2026 I reopened Adventures in Learning in Morada. And today I’m proud to offer a nurturing engaging place where children feel safe, curious, and celebrated.

At Adventures in Learning, we believe the people caring for and teaching your child make all the difference. Our dedicated team brings together experience, creativity, compassion, and a genuine love of learning.
We work together to create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel known, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them

A Family Tradition of Caring, Learning & Growing Together
At Adventures in Learning, family is at the heart of everything we do. Our children have grown up surrounded by the sights, sounds, and daily adventures of our childcare program, giving them a unique understanding of what it takes to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children.
As a single parent, I raised my daughters while building Adventures in Learning, and along the way, they became familiar with every part of the business—from caring for children and creating activities to helping behind the scenes and supporting our growing community.
Today, my children continue to be part of Adventures in Learning, bringing their own talents, personalities, and energy to the children we care for. They aren't just helping with the program—they are learning the values of compassion, responsibility, creativity, teamwork, and leadership that have always been at the center of our family and our school.
Jasmine
The oldest of the family and hopes to work alongside me for the next several years as she learns the many aspects of running a childcare program. Her long-term goal is to eventually help open another Adventures in Learning center and one day own and operate a program of her own.
Jasmine brings an energetic, playful spirit to the children. A former varsity-level national volleyball player and a talented artist, she loves getting the kids outdoors and moving. Whether she's organizing outdoor games, playing sports with the children, or letting them transform our outdoor spaces with colorful chalk artwork, she knows how to keep little ones active and engaged.
And if your child comes home happily exhausted and a little dirty, there's a good chance Jasmine had something to do with it!
Ask the kids about her famous Mickey Mouse voice—they'll be happy to tell you. 😆
Sofia
Sofia is a homeschooled high-school junior who is dedicated to her studies and has her sights set on a future career in criminology. While her primary focus is her education, she is always ready to jump in when an extra helping hand is needed.
Sofia has a natural ability to bring fun and positive energy wherever she goes. She loves being silly with the children and, when someone is having a tough day, she has a special talent for turning a frown into a smile.
A huge fan of Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars, Sofia isn't afraid to break into a song or dance when the moment calls for it. In fact, she can probably put a smile on someone's face in about the same amount of time it takes her to moonwalk across the kitchen!
Sebastian “Bash”
Sebastian, affectionately known as Bash, is 11 years old and already showing the curiosity, creativity, and patience of a future teacher.
A natural builder and problem-solver, Bash is our go-to when it comes to constructing things, figuring out how something works, or helping the little ones practice their ABCs and 123s. He genuinely enjoys working with younger children and loves the opportunity to share what he knows.
Bash hopes to become a teacher someday, and Adventures in Learning gives him a wonderful opportunity to begin developing those skills—while having plenty of fun along the way.
Anthony
Known around Adventures in Learning as “The Dad,” brings a unique combination of leadership, creativity, and culinary talent to our team.
He works professionally in sales and people management, where teamwork, communication, and bringing people together are essential skills. Those same skills come in surprisingly handy when working with little ones!
Anthony is also our resident meal-prep master. Give him just about anything in the kitchen and he'll find a way to turn it into something delicious.
A talented musician, Anthony can often be found playing piano or guitar for the children and turning an ordinary day into an impromptu dance party.
Whether he's preparing a meal, helping the team, entertaining the children, or filling the room with music, Anthony brings a fun and positive energy to Adventures in Learning.
Growing Together
One of the things that makes Adventures in Learning special is that our family continues to grow alongside the children in our care.
Each member of our team brings something different—athletic energy, creativity, music, humor, leadership, curiosity, or simply a willingness to lend a helping hand. Together, we create an environment where children can feel comfortable being themselves, explore their interests, and discover the joy of learning.
We're not just building a childcare program. We're building a family—and we're excited to have your family be part of it.
